Cast iron post by the B5061 (was A5), in parish of WROCKWARDINE (TELFORD AND WREKIN District), Holyhead Road; Oakengates, between junction of Station Fields and No. 40 in hedgerow, on East side of road. Erected by the Watling Street, Wellington District turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : SHIFNAL / 4 : : LONDON / 137 : : SALOP / 13M 6FUR : Shropshire HER listed.
