Metal plate attached to stone post by the A435, in parish of CHELTENHAM (CHELTENHAM District), East side of the road, opposite Marstons 'The Clock Tower'. Cirencester iron plate, erected by the Cirencester to Cheltenham turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- CIREN.R 13 CHELT.M 2 Milestone Society National ID: GL_CICM13.
