Metal plate attached to stone post by the A522, in parish of CHEADLE (STAFFORDSHIRE MOORLANDS District), Leek Road, at foot of Butler's Hill, in tarmac in front of stone wall, on East side of road. Leek iron plate, erected by the Cheadle (5 Districts) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- LEEK 10 UTTOXETER 10 Grade II listed.
