Metal plate attached to stone post by the B3035, in parish of SOUTHAMPTON (SOUTHAMPTON District), Hatch Grange, by the road, on North side of road. Botley plate, erected by the Botley turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- MILES 3 TO BOTLEY 9 TO ROMSEY 5 TO SOUTHTON 1828 Carved bench mark and rivet on top. Milestone Society National ID: HA_BORO03.
