Carved stone post by the A629, in parish of HUDDERSFIELD (KIRKLEES District), Wakefield Road, by No. 380, near Beech Avenue, in pavement, next to fence, on South side of road. Huddersfield 'To - From' stone, erected by the Wakefield & Austerlands turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / HUDDERSFIELD / 1½ / MILES : : FROM / HUDDERSFIELD / 1½ / MILES : Milestone Society National ID: YW_XHTF09.
