Stone post (plate lost) by the B1230, in parish of WALKINGTON (EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE District), Main Street, by No. 32, in pavement beside brick wall of house, on North side of road. Beverley mounting block - 2 step, erected by an unknown authority in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- : Beverley / 3 / South Cave / 6 360yds : Carved benchmark and rivet on front of bottom step. Milestone Society National ID: YE_HOBV16.
