Carved stone post by the B4100 (was A41), in parish of AVON DASSETT (STRATFORD ON AVON District), Splash Leys Farm, 10m North of farm entrance, 5m from roadside on ditch edge, on East side of road. Erected by the Birmingham, Warwick & Warmington turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : BANBURY / (7) / AD : : 5 / WARWICK / 12 : Carved benchmark on left hand side. Milestone Society National ID: WA_BAWA07.
