Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of BICKLEIGH (SOUTH HAMS District), off track leading from Lower Lodge into the estate, 10m North East of the track gate, 5m behind fence in a spinney alongside the track, on North side of road. Maristow Estate granite pillar, erected by a private company in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : ONE / MILE : Milestone Society National ID: DV_MWE01
