Cast iron post by the B5234, in parish of NEWBOROUGH (EAST STAFFORDSHIRE District), near Duffield Lane junction, East of Newborough, on the verge, on South side of road. Lathe iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : NEWBOROUGH ½ / ABBOTS - / BROMLEY 4 : : NEWBOROUGH : : BURTON 7 : Maker:- : Chas.
