Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of BUCKLAND ST MARY (SOUTH SOMERSET District), Street Ash, near "Springfields", South of junction with road to Beetham, on verge under hedge, on North side of road. Chard limestone post, erected by the Chard turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : CHARD / 4 / TAUNTON / 9 : Milestone Society National ID: SO_TACH09.
