Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of Royston (North Hertfordshire District), Old North Road, by Tesco, set into boundary fence, on West side of road. Erected by the Royston to Wandesford Bridge turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- B & K ROYSTON 1 LONDON 39 Grade II Listed.
