Carved stone post by the A5085, in parish of LEA (PRESTON District), Blackpool Road, East carriageway, 110m before junction with West Park Avenue, in front of open ground, on North side of road. Lancs CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : PRESTON / 2¾ MILES : : LEA AND ASHTON : : KIRKHAM / 5¾ MILES / BLACKPOOL / 15 MILES : Milestone Society National ID: LA_BPPS15.
