Cast iron post by the UC road (was A15), in parish of MARKET DEEPING (SOUTH KESTEVEN District), Halfleet, opposite St Guthlac Avenue, back of grass verge, by low brick wall, on East side of road. Stanley iron casting, erected by the Lincoln South District turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : PETER- / BOROUGH / 9 / NORTH / DISTRICT : : TO / LINCOLN / 43 / MILES / STANLEY : : MARKET / DEEPING / SOUTH / DISTRICT : Grade II Listed.
