Carved stone post by the A129, in parish of BRENTWOOD (BRENTWOOD District), Rayleigh Road, Hutton, opposite Hanging Hill Lane junction, on grassy bank, on North side of road. Erected by the Rochford Hundred (Division of Essex First District) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- : (London 20) : Milestone Society National ID: EX_BWRY20.
