Metal plate attached to stone post by the B4211, in parish of HANLEY CASTLE (MALVERN HILLS District), 30 yds N of former Hanley Castle Post Office, on the verge, on East side of road. Upton hands plate Erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : {pointing hand} UPTON / 1½ MILES / {pointing hand} MALVERN / 5½ / WORCESTER / 9 : Grade II Listed. List Entry Number: 1302495 Milestone Society National ID: WO_WOUS09.
