The milestone is located opposite the school, at the junction with Slip Mill Road, on grass verge, on the north side of the road. Parish of Hawkhurst (Tunbridge Wells District). Metal plate attached to stone post, Rye iron plate design, erected by the Rye turnpike trust in the 19th century.
