Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of BOLTON (BOLTON District), Moss Bank Park, inset into wall, on East side of road. Bolton stone, erected by the Sharples & Hoghton turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / BOLTON / 3 / MILES : Milestone Society National ID: LA_BOMB03.
