Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of WOTTON UNDER EDGE (STROUD District), Tor Hill, just South of junction with Nind Lane on verge, on West side of road. Wotton plate, erected by the Wotton-Under-Edge (Division) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : To / WOTTON / I : Carved benchmark on front lower centre. Milestone Society National ID: GL_WEHU01.
