Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of KINGSBURY EPISCOPI (SOUTH SOMERSET District), Thorney Road, in Kingsbury Episcopi village, roadside on grass verge, on West side of road. LSCC iron plate, erected by the Langport, Somerton & Castle Cary turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 4 LANGPORT CREWKERNE 9 Grade II Listed.
