Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of CAPEL LE FERNE (DOVER District), New Dover Road, by Royal Oak PH, in a border by car park entrance, on North side of road. Folkestone stone, erected by the Dover & Sandgate turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (FOLKESTONE) (3) : Kent HER listed.
