Metal plate attached to stone post by the A2030 (was A27), in parish of PORTSMOUTH (PORTSMOUTH District), Farlington, junction of Rectory Avenue and Havant Road, on grass verge in front of brick wall (badly damaged in RTA Sept 2016), on North side of road. Havant iron plate, erected by the Cosham to Chichester turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- Havant. 2 Mile.
