Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of WIVELISCOMBE (TAUNTON DEANE District), Croford Hill near driveway, in hedge bank, on South side of road. Wiveliscombe iron plate, erected by the Wiveliscombe turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- WIVELISCOMBE 2 MILES Grade II listed.
