Metal plate attached to stone post by the A38, in parish of NORTH PETHERTON (SEDGEMOOR District), Fore Street, opposite Crosswell Close, against wall, on pavement, on west side of road. Harford iron plate, erected by the Bridgwater turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 3 Miles to Bridgwater Milestone Society National ID: SO_BGTA03.
