Metal plates attached to stone post by the UC road (was A10), in parish of HILGAY (KINGS LYNN AND WEST NORFOLK District), 15yds South of Stocks Hill, in pavement against brick wall, on East side of road. Erected by the Ely to Downham (North District) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : 14 : : 4 : Milestone Society National ID: NO_DME4.
