Carved stone post by the B4368, in parish of HOPESAY (SOUTH SHROPSHIRE District), Clun Road; Aston on Clun; West of Marlowes, by the road, on North side of road. Bishops Castle arched stone, erected by the Bishops Castle turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- MILES B.CASTLE 9 CLUN 5¾ C.ARMS 3 Grade II listed.
