Metal plate attached to stone post by the A660, in parish of BRAMHOPE (LEEDS District), Leeds Road, Bramhope, North of Breary Lane crossroads, near Glenmore Court, built into wall near telegraph pole 181, on North side of road. TP iron casting, erected by the Leeds & Otley turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : LEEDS / 7 / MILES : : LONDON / 193¼ / MILES : : OTLEY / 3½ / MILES : Grade II listed.
