Metal plate attached to stone post by the A6034, in parish of SILSDEN (BRADFORD District), Bolton Road; Silsden, in pavement, just below 7% steep hill sign, on East side of road. WR iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : KEIGHLEY / 4¾ MILES / BURNLEY / 18 MILES : : BLACKBURN ADDINGHAM / & / COCKING END / ROAD / SILSDEN : : ADDINGHAM / 3 MILES / ILKLEY / 6¼ MILES : Grade II listed.
