The milestone is located near the Eastern Avenue / Trent Valley Road roundabout, on the verge on the south side of the road. Parish of Lichfield (Lichfield District). Cast iron post, Cochrane iron casting design, erected by the County Council in the 20th century. Inscription reads:- : LICHFIELD 1 : : STREETHAY / PARISH : : ALREWAS 4 / BURTON 11¼ : Maker:- : Cochrane & Co, Dudley. : Milestone Society National ID: ST_LFBT01
