Carved stone post by the A267, in parish of MAYFIELD (WEALDEN District), Five Ashes, opposite Five Ashes Primary School, on grass bank. Mayfield stone, erected by the Mayfield & Wadhurst, Mayfield District turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : Lewes / 14 : : Tunbridge Wells / 11 : Milestone Society National ID: SX_TWMF11.
