Concrete post - (plate lost) by the A361, in parish of HILPERTON (WEST WILTSHIRE District), Paxcroft; 150m West of Paxcroft Cottages, on the verge behind footpath, on North side of road. Erected by the Trowbridge turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (Trowbridge 2) (Devizes 8) Milestone Society National ID: WI_DZTB08.
