Carved stone post by the A574, in parish of CROFT (WARRINGTON District), Warrington Road, Risley; opposite Rowe Farm against hedgerow, inset into verge, on West side of road. Lancashire CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / LEIGH / 5¾ / MILES : : RISLEY / TOWNSHIP OF / CULCHETH : : TO / WARRINGTON / 5 / MILES : Grade II listed.
