Carved stone post by the A381, in parish of MALBOROUGH (SOUTH HAMS District), 400m South of turn to Woolston, stone alcove on clear bank, on grass verge/bank in front of small stone wall, on West side of road. Salcombe granite stone, erected by the Kingsbridge & Dartmouth turnpike trust in the 19th century. Overgrown in bank. Inscription reads:- : (To) / Kings(b) / 3 : : To / Salco / mbe / 3 : Milestone Society National ID: DV_KBSC03
