Carved stone post by the B3151, in parish of ILCHESTER (SOUTH SOMERSET District), High Street, South West corner of Town Hall, set in pavement against stone wall of a building, on South side of road. London stone, erected by the Ilchester turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- MILES TO LONDON 127½ BRISTOL 35 BATH 33 WELLS 18 TAUNTON 24 YEOVIL 5 Grade II listed.
