Carved stone post by the B3352 (was A38), in parish of ASHBURTON (TEIGNBRIDGE District), Plymouth Road, Linhay, 100m West of entrance to quarry, in bank at back of pavement, on North side of road. Ashburton tombstone, erected by the Ashburton (Ashburton & Totnes Consolidated) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- From Ash- burton II Grade II listed.
