Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of BAINTON (EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE District), built into church wall, by the road, on East side of road. Erected by the Beverley to Kendale House turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- DRIFFIELD 6 MILES BEVERLEY 10 MALTON 18 MILES Milestone Society National ID: YE_BVMA10.
