Cast iron post by the A1175 (was A16), in parish of DEEPING ST NICHOLAS (SOUTH HOLLAND District), Littleworth Drove, opposite Poplar Farm, on the verge, on North side of road. Thorncliffe iron casting, erected by the Littleworth turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : SPALDING / 8 / - : : LONDON / M / 92 : : DEEPING / ST JAMES / 3 / - : Grade II listed.
