Carved stone post by the A379, in parish of STOKENHAM (SOUTH HAMS District), 50m West of Stokelly Farm Shop turn, before road descends to Torcross, on grass verge, under hedge, close to road edge, on North side of road. Slapton granite marker, erected by the Kingsbridge & Dartmouth turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO KINGSBE 6 TO (DAR)TMo 9 Carved benchmark on top.
