Cast iron post by the B6265, in parish of SAWLEY (HARROGATE District), Risplith, North West of Blackamoor House, on bend in narrow steep banking North of lane to Sawley, 40m North East of 'SLOW' on road and just North of hedge line in field, on East side of road. Ingram iron casting, erected by an unknown authority in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : PATELEY. / 6. : : SKIPTON / 21. : : RIPON. / 5. : Maker:- : J.INGRAM / MAKER / RIPON : Grade II listed.
