Metal plates attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of ANDOVER (TEST VALLEY District), London Road, junction with Admirals Way, on the verge, on East side of road. Overton pillar and iron plate, erected by the Andover & Basingstoke turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : LONDON / 63 / ANDOVER / 1 : : LONDON / 63 / BASINGSTOKE / 17 : Milestone Society National ID: HA_BAAN17.
