Cast iron post by the A167, in parish of NORTHALLERTON (HAMBLETON District), Romanby, just North of traffic island at A684 junction, on the verge at side of path, on West side of road. Northallerton iron casting, erected by the Boroughbridge & Durham turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : NO'ALLERTON / 1 : : LONDON / 220 : : BORO'BRIDGE / 18 : Milestone Society National ID: YN_NABB01.
