Cast iron post by the B5403, in parish of SEIGHFORD (STAFFORD District), Lawnhead, on grass verge. Stafford wide top, erected by the Eccleshall, Newport & Watling Street turnpike trust in the 19th century. Possibly re-located further West. Inscription reads:- : STAFFORD / MILES / 7 : : LONDON / 140 / PARISH OF SEIGHFORD : : NEWPORT / MILES / 7 : Grade II listed.
