Ornate spike finial - no arms; Cheshire short, un-tapered by the UC road, in parish of Newton by Malpas (Chester District), Newton Kingsley; now used to support post box, replaced by a new octagonal type a little distance away. At the junction of Meeting House Lane and Hillfoot Lane. Surveyed Milestone Society National ID: CH_SJ5274A.
