Carved stone post by the B5211, in parish of ECCLES (SALFORD District), Worsley Road, Winton, by No.405, in niche in wall, on South West side of road. Barton Stone, erected by the Barton Bridge & Moses Gate turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : 7 / Miles to / Bolton : : 9 / Miles to / Altrincham / 1½ / Barton / Bridge : Milestone Society National ID: LA_BOAT07
