Carved stone post by the A590, in parish of HAVERTHWAITE (SOUTH LAKELAND District), Back Barrow, on grass verge, on South side of road. Lancashire CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / ULVERSTON 8 MLS / BARROW 16¼ : : HOLKER / UPPER : : TO / GRANGE 7¾ MLS / KENDAL 18 / LANCASTER 29 : Milestone Society National ID: LA_LABA29.
