Located in Crown Square, Spinningfields this Bee was created by Jenny Leonard and sponsored by commercial law firm Pinsent Masons LLP. "The artist thought the 3-D sculpture would lend itself really well to the cubism movement and Pablo Picasso's stylised work. Using the shapes of the model to dictate the faces and pieces, she has curved and bent Picasso's most famous paintings around the surface of the Bee to create a fun visual pun and a recognisable, distinctive style of artwork."
