Opened in 1943 by the Catterick Camp Military Railway, this station closed in 1964. It had replaced an earlier station immediately behind the camera position. View south towards Catterick Camp Central, standing on the former track-bed. The single platform would have been just to the left. All evidence of a railway here has been obliterated by later industrial premises. For more information, see http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/b/brompton_road_platform/index1.shtml
