The attractively set church at Kelloe, dedicated to St. Helen, lies a distance to the north-east of the majority of the housing in the village. The west tower and nave are reported to be of Norman origin - https://historicengland.org.uk/advice/heritage-at-risk/search-register/list-entry/19885. Structural problems have been addressed in 2017 and 2018 with grant aid.
