An old brick bridge with modern tarmac road leading to a small number of houses, and to Soroba House, the white building visible in the background. Soroba House is a listed building, currently used both residentially (upper floor) and as a function room (lower floor). Closer views of it can be seen at Image and Image The housing is behind Soroba House; a handful of additional houses as well as the Elderslie Bed and Breakfast, the sign for which is visible to the right of the image, are accessed via the road leading away on the right. Notice the waste bins left at the junction, a nod to the difficulty of moving a commercial vehicle like a bin lorry along this road. Beneath the bridge runs a small burn, with steep embankments and heavy vegetation making this a hazardous area at night.
