The notice on the fence stating "PRIVATE, No public right of way" has been put up in the last couple of months. A little further along, at the rear of the block of flats Baronsmede, there was a similar sign adding 'access to main road 80m' referring to this path. That gave the impression that this was a publicly accessible route, which is not the case, and the Baronsmede sign has now been removed lest any confusion remain.
