Looking across The Square in the town centre of Sawbridgeworth, although the main activity of the town is in Bell Street, left where the car is just emerging, and the main London Road at the far end of Bell Street. Knight Street is ahead beyond the crossroads with Church Street to the right. The road markings at the foot of the picture hints that the road behind us is slightly offset; that's true, and it is a narrow road for the first few yards behind us.
